I got to beta read this book and I must say, I'm proud of the author for writing her story. It can be heartbreaking at times and I honestly am not sure I would have been able to do the same if I went through what she did. I can't believe this amazing author went through what she did. I'd say this is a must read, especially if you're going through domestic violence or already did. I personally think it shows that you're not alone and anyone could use that.Product details

Kate captures the rollercoaster of emotions experienced by any victim of domestic violence. As you take the journey with Ivy you feel your heart break time and again as she fights for the man she loves no matter how difficult he makes it. Kate takes a stand against those that have hurt her and metaphorically against all those that have made us utter the words "it is all my fault" and "he didn't mean to do it". She is not a victim she is the picture of strength and a role model for everyone to know they can fight back and they are not alone! I am proud to know her.
This book is hard to read, but in the end is happy. You certainly want to dive into the words to help Ivy out in the bad place she is in. Its hard to read about people being abused because of domestic violence. Kate has really put that in this book! She showed that you can even find strength to move past everything as well. That is the biggest message I think you can get from this book!!
