While on the case, Quinn falls for a Scottish Laird, Collin, after they save each other’s lives over and over. I love the psychic character and the Scottish characters, too. Take a kick-butt heroine plus a Highland stud. Mix in a few meddling ghosts and a dishonorable friend and you have an idea of what you will get with this book. And this is just the start of a new series.
I loved this book. Quinn is a feisty woman who doesn't take crap. I especially liked how she put Ian in his place, very comical. Lots of action, a bit of romance and the sarcasm between her and Ian make this book.
It is a quick and easy read. There is a slight mystery, but nothing that can't be figured out. If you want a light, fluffy read to help ease you from a book hangover, I would recommend this. If you want a book with substance, this is not your book.
I wasn't sure that I would like this book, but Kate Allenton writes a great story. It grabs your attention right away. Keeps you reading till the last page. Not only was there a mystery but also a great love story. I can't wait to purchase the next book in this series. I would totally recommend this book.
I found this to be an enjoyable read. A great mixture of humour, action, mystery and a touch of romance. It was not easily predictable and the ending was satisfying. I loved Quinn whose vovacious attitude carried the story along nicely.
I would definitely read others in the series.
A determined Scot + a woman who's not = a story rather hot. Psychic Medium Quinn plans a quick trip to Scotland to return a missing gem to the Menzie family but experiences a delay that allows her to delve into an old prophesy. PG rated language, mystery, and humor combine to make for a sweet story most cozy readers will enjoy.
LOVED LOVED LOVED this book. Quinn cracks me up. I loved how she took Ian out. That was so funny. The chemistry between Quinn and Collin was explosive. This has moved onto my favorites list. I cannot wait until the next one in September.
